Southern rock has never really been my cup of tea, so the tide was kind of flowing the other way upon entering this. But, this album has "Fortunate Son", which I already liked and, ultimately, brought me to this record. See now this is classic rock at its prime. Every song has its purpose, and it’s just perfect to just kick back and listen to some killer southern tunes.
This album definitely captures the zeitgeist of late 60's to early 70's southern rock as the messages this album sends shows us issues going on in America at the time.
This album is okay. It is listenable. Some of the songs on this are really good. The rest is mid.
