Midwest grain harvest type beat
This is R.E.M’s 2nd best album in my opinion. From Superman, which sounds like something the 80’s video store employee might bang in their Walkman, to the powerful environmentally conscious Fall On Me and Cuyahoga, this album contains some of the band’s most interesting and powerful ideas.

Esta al nivel de sus primeros albums. Personalmente me sobra "Underneath the Bunker" que me recuerda al sonido de cierto grupo de rock latino de cuyo nombre no quiero acordarme.
The recording sessions for Fables of the Reconstruction were incredibly fraught and difficult ones indeed, and the album we got reflected this in its dull contents. On the other hand, the follow-up record Lifes Rich Pageant feels like a revitalisation for R.E.M. The band sound lighter and way more alive here, with their bullshit absolutely nailed. This is the first R.E.M. album I've had a really positive reaction to since first listen.
