I saw this being praised heavily in a death metal group I'm in and decided to check it out. I have to say, I'm not really blown away by anything here. It starts off alright, but Frozen Soul is a death metal band in every sense of the word. They don't really do anything new or unheard of, they just play textbook death metal. This sure is a death metal album. Double bass drums that do double bass drum beats. Stiff growls that sound like evil montone growls. Super distorted chuggy thrash riffs that sound uh like super distorted chuggy thrash riffs.
