The lyrics are forgettable. In fact, they rarely expand on the song titles, but its all great fun and a wonderful collection of new wave ear candy.

A lot of people said this album was better than "Listen" but actually they are literally the same thing with the same problems.
A very strong start with great singles (their most famous songs ever) and a couple of good songs but then it goes on with uninteresting and very forgettable new wave songs.
They are literally the same thing, and they get the same rating too.

Inconsistent, as same as the other one.

While some of the songs are repettitve and have aged poorly, the first two songs and certain highlights are amougnst the best of 80s pop

A pretty good debut album with amazing opener tracks, most notably Space Age Love Song. The only problem with this album is that songs can't differentiate from each other. The later tracks on the album pretty much sound the same, the lyrics can be a little bland, and it can a little boring here and there. Other than that, it wasn't all that forgettable and I'd probably come back to it when i'm in the mood for some synth-pop.

The first album by A Flock Of Seagulls and it isn't a bad debut. The albums starts off with some amazing tracks but as the album goes on, the songs get forgettable and a little boring. Decent new wave album and is still worth a listen.
