Ever since his 2010s reinvention, Eprom has been a man of few words and lots of bass. He abandoned most IDM pretenses of his earlier work, focusing on what makes a dance track tick by tearing it apart. Where build ups and switch ups usually go, he instead builds mood and quiet tension, breaking it with outbursts of loud violence, akin to watching a Zahler or Dominik film.
