This track was my first contact with Susanne Sundfør's music and I can safely say that I'm sold, because my god, this was beyond beautiful
I’m honestly not sure if there’s an artist out there today who writes folk songs that carry half as much beauty as Susanne, and she’s mostly known as a synthpop artist. In case you were worried that her last record was a fluke of mature, acoustic singer-songwriter genius, Alyosha will almost immediately dissuade your fears, and Leikara Ljoð will make you wonder why she ever bothered with that synthpop nonsense to begin with.
