Happily, Nelson sounds sprier here than he has on other records of contemporaneous vintage, which gives a light, lively quality that's quite welcome.
It’s Willie Nelson so obviously it’s interesting enough to keep my attention but it’s just so uninspired man. I can’t really ask much more from a dude who’s basically just running a victory lap at this point, I just didn’t like this snooze.
