In that respect, nothing new to report about Nelson’s new recording, I Don’t Know A Thing About Love, where the master tackles the songs of Harlan Howard, who defined a great country song as “three chords and the truth.”
Both tender and tenacious, I Don’t Know A Thing About Love reveals all within the context of a classic country compendium.
It’s Willie Nelson so obviously it’s interesting enough to keep my attention but it’s just so uninspired man. I can’t really ask much more from a dude who’s basically just running a victory lap at this point, I just didn’t like this snooze.
