Lost my girlfriend after showing her this but all I needed was Danny Brown and Pegging to be satisfied

Edit: guys it was autocorrect i swear 😭😭😭

Hoes are temporary, if you don’t like this album? You’re scaring the bros.

It is an understatement that a rap duo of this magnitude was a great idea. The idea of a JPEGMAFIA x Danny Brown record transcends an idea, it was almost destined to be, and was undoubtedly going to be great. With glimpses of their chemistry being ... read more

Not what I expected

It's a mess. The mixing is ass (intentionally I think for a lot of parts). There is barely a balance between the work Danny puts in and Peggy puts in...

but also I really enjoy the full experience. It is a great overall listen that comes off way more like an experimental experience more than anything. It is wild and creative. The good heavily outweighs the bad. It certainly could have been done with more clarity, but as is, it feels like a dusty old tape you'd find at the ... read more

This shit's ð–ðšððœðĄ ððĄðž ð“ðĄðŦðĻ𝐧𝐞 except instead of for rich people it's for broke mfs who are scared to talk to the goth girl cashier at GameStop, my typa album.

It’s Danny Brown and JPEGMAFIA. This album was destined to be good. On one side, you have one of the most consistently creative, forward-thinking, multifaceted, jack-of-all-trades artists to ever touch a mic; and on the other, you have the dude who rapped “I’d die for this shit ... read more

JPEGMAFIA & Danny Brown... sounds like a dream Hip-Hop duo made in heaven. We were all hoping in the back our minds at one point that something like this would happen. And guess what? It did, and it fuckin' delivers!

Proceeding with the singles Lean Beef Patty and the title track over the last week, I just knew that we were in for a wild, hard-hitting treat! The singles both delivered that voltage-level punch that I was predicting to hear from the two artists.

But the whole album... takes ... read more

THE BEST DUO SINCE ADAM AND EVE!

This is literal perfection. This is AOTY. If anything overtakes this, I will literally suck my own dick. The beats are fat, juicy, beefy masterpieces, Peggy just gets better and better at producing and that's insane. The flows are crazy, the lyrics are probably good, but I can barely understand them which is fine. The mixing is perfect, I don't care. I just love how this shit sounds.

No negatives. This is flawless.

Danny and Peggy are a match made in heaven. ... read more

If anything surpasses this as album of the year, I will cosplay NF again.

I’m a pretty big fan of hip hop, and I’m familiar with both the people who made this collab. Danny Brown made my favorite rap album of all time, Atrocity Exhibition, and Peggy made my favorite album of 2021, as well as one of my favorite rap songs ever.

When I found out that they would make this masterpiece, you know I went “HOLY SHIT!” They both seemed to be a match made in heaven, and guess ... read more

EDIT: The album grew off me even more. It's an album that has a lot of fancy instrumentation and experimnetation, but ultimately fails to deliver a compelling work of art. The songs feel very much like demos, that were supposed to be finished or reworked, but never did, and instead of finishing them, they called it experimental music and kind of used that as an excuse instead of making the songs fully realized and come together. The album feels like a jumbled mess, with the vocals being ... read more

I am the target audience for this album frfr.

‘SCARING THE HOES’ has to be the musical equivalent to teabagging. JPEGMAFIA and Danny Brown, two of the most revered names in the underground hip hop landscape, team up for what will hopefully be their first of many installments.

With both artists being well known for their eccentric performances, voices, and production, ‘SCARING THE HOES’ was surely set to be a boundary pushing endeavor. And with that, it certainly ... read more

Basically Her Loss for letterboxed users, Yes I'm using this joke again because I'm a whore of likes.
This album is fire, I've been waiting for this shit to drop since I learned how to speak, Danny and Peggy are two of my favorite rappers of all time so needless to say my expectations were enormous, And honestly while I have some issues with this project im very happy.

I will start with the positives because there are plenty of them. I really love the dirty and chaotic aesthetic of the album, ... read more

what kind of rappin’ is this?

Alright, so JPEGMAFIA and Danny Brown need no introduction to this corner of the music community - you know them, you have your thoughts on them, and you probably heard this record and already made up your opinion on it. These two rappers bookended the 2010’s for being some of the most beloved and eccentric forces in alternative hip-hop. On the front half of that decade, Danny Brown brought a wild and off kilter energy that was easy to get lost in the ... read more

Mfs saying the mix sucks are the ones who are scaring the hoes.

Both Danny brown and Peggy gave their all to this project and managed to make a wonderful, fun and just mind blowing album, you can tell they had fun doing it and I'm just happy to have been able to listen to it tbh.

Her Loss for people who are afraid to make doctors appointments ðŸ”Ĩ

This is music for nihilists, for the reckless, for those who embrace darkness because they don’t see another option.

no but seriously this is a celebration of Experimental Hiphop
Who else can make shit this incredible but Danny and Peggy?
Peggy seriously needs to be in the GOAT debate at this point, the man absolutely steals the show here
First six tracks and God Loves You are amazing, this might’ve been the best ... read more

We shall all be attending the message by Pastor Peggy this weekend. Missing this opportunity will not only result in massive regret and public shaming, but you shall have to out rap the both of them to redeem your social status. Not so easy now, is it?

I have legit been scared to listen to this album. Like, absolutely terrified. Not only is this because I’m not a huge Hip-Hop head yet, but also because I’m an incredibly sheltered child. Like, listening to ‘Atrocity ... read more

If I got scared by this album, does that mean that I'm a hoe?

Two of the most appreciated rappers of the 2010's, the multi-tasker JPEGMAFIA and the more conscious but kinda deranged Danny Brown, finally released "SCARING THE HOES" and I have to say that it is a collaboration for the ages to come! This album is seriously great: from the energetic rapping and great singing from Peggy to the performances full of personality from Danny, this is definitely one of the best albums of the ... read more

The newest collaboration album with Danny Brown & JPEGMAFIA scaring the hoes is the best album of this year. This album has anything that I expected it to be and does those things 100% better. Production is a lot more experimental, mostly based on very unique samples that could be taken for IShowSpeed songs for example Lean Beef Patty or Orange Juice Jones. This is maybe Jpegmafia's best beat with a ton of joy and fun, also surprised by the drum n bass influence on one or two tracks on this ... read more

Shoutout to @Paruko for fixing the mix! You did a great job saving this :D!!

Peggy and Danny come together on a collab album, and it’s essentially “Watch The Throne” but for basement dwellers who have never seen the light of the sun. If that sounds too much for you, I implore you to continue touching grass. However, if you’re reading this review, Im afraid it may be too late for you. This album, while not perfect in my eyes, was a fun as fuck time for me personally! ... read more
