An album made terrible to talk about because of the hoes on the internet. They're more than scared, we've hit levels of perturbed. In a lot of ways this feels just as quality and charming as any other Peggy project, but the addition of Danny Brown's input as a label owner as well as his verses just make this beast so gnarly. Made to annoy, it's loud piercing mixes have made the nerds mad, and I just love it. Some of the best samples and best flips I've heard yet, we're truly getting spoiled by ... read more
If the sonic theme for 2023 is tight, experimental albums that are all bangers no fluff, then I never want this year to end.

If you were in the crowd during Danny Brown’s performance in April 2022 at “Smoker’s Club Fest,” you were likely one of the lucky handful who jumped and yelled with glee as JPEGMAFIA made his way onto the stage as the performance consisted of an unreleased and previously unheard track.
If you are like the rest of either fanbase, you were probably a recipient of some strange looks as ... read more
The new pinkpantheress and ice spice.
If the hoes aren't scared it's not real music. Delicious, mouthwatering production. Peggy is truly unmatched. Just as you think he's hit a peak in his career, he drops some of the hardest, left field beats you've ever heard. Loved the use of the horns and loved the gospel, such classic Peggy. Both him and Danny come together bringing enough energy to make the 36 min run consistently intense and hard hitting.
At first glance, it seem as though JPEG ... read more
Fills a fairly specific niche in the experimental hip hop realm, but does a flawless job doing so. Almost all of the songs in SCARING THE HOES feel like a fresh experience of trippy mixes and hardcore lyrical talent that shouldn't be slept on. Also, one of the better album covers in recent years by far. Truly iconic.
Efectivamente esto espanto a mis putas, solo las reales se quedaron y estamos teniendo orgías locas 👹

I’M THE ONLY HOE WHO NEEDS SCARING AROUND HERE
It looks like Danny Brown decided to come back. And now he’s scaring all us hoes with what may be my Album of the Year (Trademarked in 18 states).
Of course JPEGMAFIA was going to make an album with Danny Brown, the same person who made Atrocity Exhibition of all things. Peggy and Danny go together like peanut butter and jelly.
Yeah, this is a different kind of rapping, one that is mixed so terribly that you can barely hear it. Other ... read more
what kind of rappin’ is this?
Alright, so JPEGMAFIA and Danny Brown need no introduction to this corner of the music community - you know them, you have your thoughts on them, and you probably heard this record and already made up your opinion on it. These two rappers bookended the 2010’s for being some of the most beloved and eccentric forces in alternative hip-hop. On the front half of that decade, Danny Brown brought a wild and off kilter energy that was easy to get lost in the ... read more
Burfict! is the only track I really wanna return to. Really disappointed, Jpeg sounds awkward on most of these tracks as Danny carried the rapping. Beats are way too overproduced, the whole personality just feels like it's being too hard to be experimental (and I'm a Death Grips fan). Overall just a pretty uncomfortable listen. Never been a Peggy fan but I know Danny can do better, I'll be looking out for Quaranta soon!
