The beats on MAD are very good, and EST Gee can be versatile both vocally and stylistically. That being said, there’s a lot left to be desired on this album. Some songs bleed together in a way that sound very similar and there’s a sense of deja vu on any track that doesn’t have a feature.
there's some decent production on this album, but i don't think est gee brings enough to the album to make it really stand out. it's best as background music, as it's pretty dull overall.
best tracks: slam dunk, drop top
The beats and the pacing are top tier on this project and it definitely feels like a really vibey trap album. I think the weakest part of the entire project is EST Gee himself and the features, but its a small nitpick as its not really about the lyrics but the mood and this album hits the mood perfectly. Just wish it was a little shorter and that EST Gee went in a little harder on those tracks.
