Honestly M. Shadows’ vocals are really not that bad imo

G is so fucking funny I love that song so much
I listened to this album earlier and aside from (O)Edina Ty it really is a great time, imma bump my score up I have more fun with this than any other A7X album I think

Honestly? This is a weird project. Cause even in the songs I thought were kinda awful, there were parts in the songs that I liked.. but this album is made up of really annoying structure and whiny fucking vocals. I don't know what to think of this one. It's mixed.

Beautiful Morning is both a genuinely amazing song and the best song on here but y'all aren't ready for that discussion

It tried to be experimental/avant-garde but not good enough so it failed. It's kinda sad tbh, it's like watching someone trying to become something they'll ever become because they don't have the necessary qualities or talent.

With better vocals this would go from a 40 to at least a 60 to me. Shadows' voice is so shot and it's sad to hear.

Yeah in retrospect, I don't think it's that bad. Yes, the execution is wobbly in its quality, but the concept of the album is so well thought-out that it balances out.

Granted I'm unfamiliar with Mr Bungle, but from what I've heard of this album so far, it's not awful to my ears. Sure it's not amazing, but it's got some good stuff going for it. Drummer especially is popping off.

I love how this album is just bad, but the last track is one of the most beautifully written and arranged piano pieces of the year… I’d love an Avenged Sevenfold record that ditches the metal and implements more piano rock, chamber and singer-songwriter stuff
