Epoch feels like the realization of Hansen's long-term artistic vision, and the album exudes a confidence that clearly shows the band have come into their own.
It’s more aggressive and yet more pop-friendly at the same time, showing off new angles of his sonic while clearly retaining that relatable open-air accessibility that has enraptured tens of thousands of fans.
Tycho is basically elevator music at this point. So predictable and unchanging. Done, won't listen to more new stuff.
Really enjoyed this project. Maybe it's because I haven't listened to anything else from Tycho, but I thought this was a very fun and energetic album. There wasn't a ton of variation, but enough to keep me listening, and the speed of the record also earned my affection. Nothing crazy, but a very solid LP
Cool electronic almost ambient sounds.
Great production.
Overall nice background music.
