Really enjoyed this project. Maybe it's because I haven't listened to anything else from Tycho, but I thought this was a very fun and energetic album. There wasn't a ton of variation, but enough to keep me listening, and the speed of the record also earned my affection. Nothing crazy, but a very solid LP

Tycho is basically elevator music at this point. So predictable and unchanging. Done, won't listen to more new stuff.

This is what professional chess players would use as pump-up music

It all reminds me of the kind of car commercial music (Phoenix, for example) that one would hear in the mid-2000s. And that's not a bad thing if it's done with flair and compositional muscle. I can say that latter doesn't lend itself to this record as much as the former, but it's still all very chill, atmospheric IDM.

Consistent and precise. Easy to enjoy.
