NO NUANCE REVIEW

As songs used as world building to represent the fictional singer, Ni’jah, in the show “Swarm”, these work really well, they got the Beyoncé-isms completely down. As songs meant to be listened to outside of that context…eh. I like the production but the actually songwriting feels half-baked on a decent amount of tracks here.

Thought the show was solid tho, give “Swarm” a watch if you haven’t!

I decided to check this out, since it popped into my notifications because Childish Gambino was on it.

This is a mess. The only track I really, REALLY liked was the opener, "Something Like That", and then it gradually got downhill from there. Tracks 2-3 started to bore me, and then I got hit with "Adventure", which is 645AR levels of bad. "Hahaha" was fine, but nothing special, and "Sticky", the track with Childish Gambino just left me ... ... read more
