'We Shall Overcome: The Seeger Sessions' is Bruce's tribute to highly-important folk figure Peter Seeger, and The Boss did it well. The recordings began in 1997 and finished in early 2006, and then he dropped it. The record is notably different from any other he had done, it is basically a vintage rendition of traditional American folk.
