it is rare that i come across an album this layered, dense, and just generally mind-blowing, but it's always a treat when i do. this album is composed of three discs that roughly add up to three hours, but thankfully, it's one of those albums that never leaves you feeling bored despite its massive run-time. at first glance, it probably sounds absurd. why would you ever combine free jazz and noise? i don't know, honestly, but it works. somehow, it is incredibly captivating.

Believe it or not, despite the negative rating here, I don't necessarily dislike most of the tracks in this album. In fact, I believe there's a few good moments, and the concept of a noise-free jazz hybrid is pretty cool. The big issue with this album for me could be summarized in one sentence:

It's way too long.
