Menacing and aggressive yet reflective, Dypet is sure to stand the test of time.
Dypet is a must have for your black metal collection. Leave no doubt.
This is undoubtedly the finest MORK album to date and it deserves to reach even greater heights with its sounds of venomous majesty, so turn it up loud and feel the darkness of Dypet, it’s something you will not regret.
Basically, if a Pitchfork-co-signed indie rock band spawned in southern Norway and started rocking trve kvlt.

One of the more evil and dark sounding BM albums I’ve heard, not super hard hitting but still a vibe nether the less
As a melodic black record it is very solid. It has great riffs and some interesting chord progressions yet the vocals are way too traditional and not emotional enough (there are moments when Mork employ different style of vocals but not that often). In terms of quality, the songs are inconsistent (I found a riff from Et Kall Fra Dypet to be rather irritating). Yet, musically the songs are probably as diverse as no-nonsense melodic black metal allows.
