Band of Gypsys is not only an important part of the Hendrix legacy, but one of the greatest live albums ever.

Band Of Gypsys proves to be another accomplished addition in Jimi Hendrix's already illustrious repertoire, and one that should not go unexperienced by any fan.

Can you guys drop some live albums with all original, unheard material? I wanna make a list about it. I find it really interesting for whatever reason, and I know some people ignore live releases for their own reasons, sometimes missing completely new songs. Thanks

Btw i ask this because i can't find a list online xd

It's incredible that Jimi didn't want to release it because it's an exceptional record, apart from the fact that there's Machine Gun, the quality of those riffs and guitar solos are from another dimension, warm, sweaty, energetic. It has everything that the essence of psychedelic rock transmits to you, a sweetness to the ear.

Just let Hendrix’s guitar do the singing instead of Buddy Miles’ overbearing scat singing and you’ve got another perfect Jimi Hendrix album.

Imagine the flex of saying you’ve seen this guy in concert.
