basically a bunch of bite sized, very well made post-punk songs. Was cool then, still cool now. I love how each quarter has some small but distinctive change, and the whole album feels like a chronological set of events. It runs like a movie with incredible dialogue and a gripping sense of humor. A truly fantastic project overall.

i’m so sick of people calling this post punk. IT’S HARDCORE DIPSHITS.
this is the mutant love child of captain beefheart and the dead kennedys.
anyways my favorite lyric was “we were fucking corndogs” from history lesson part 2
punk bands gotta stop making so many good albums so i can get some ratings other than 90s
these are my thoughts about the album.

Musically genius and subversive while also having great political lyrics. Some good shit. If Ween were history nerds who loved classic punk this is what I assume they would sound like.
