And with their sophomore project, Megadeth become one of the best thrash metal groups of the 1980s.

Peace Sells... But Who's Buying? is an album that somehow improves on their debut, which I already said I enjoyed beginning to end. From the amazing opener Wake Up Dead to the classic Peace Sells. From the long but never boring Good Mourning/Black Friday, the to fantastic closer My Last Words, this thing is unrelenting in its fun and extremely energetic thrash glory!

Megadeth came back with much stronger songwriting with Peace Sells. The Lyrical theme and vocal flow also see a massive upgrade. themes range from the occult, war, prisonbreak. Loved the vocal delivery on songs like Peace Sells and My last words. I also feel like Chris Poland's lead work is massively underrated in Megadeth's discography. [88.88] Second Megadeth album, more accepted and put on a list of their essentials. It is a set up from the first, but I guess it feels the same, no issue tho. I guess I just have to be concerned with it possibly being Metallica rip off, like Good Mourning makes me so hyped but then I remember its like Metallica thingy. Obv they will always rate higher so who tf caaare.

"Wake Up Dead" and "Peace Sells" are two of my personal favourites from Megadeth. This would be their best effort to date, after Rust in Peace, at least in my opinion. Amazing musicianship, and in particular the guitar work is stunning. 1986 was a truly brilliant year for Thrash Metal, this is one of the finest contributors.
How tastefully evil and humorous this record is. It's like seeing through the eyes of a madman. It conveys the thrash essence as best as it can get with all the key ingredients and some spicy extras: politics, occultism themes, neck-breaking grooves, demoniac arpeggios, exuberant basslines, hard riffs and obviously the solos to leave you on the edge of the seat.
