And with their sophomore project, Megadeth become one of the best thrash metal groups of the 1980s.

Peace Sells... But Who's Buying? is an album that somehow improves on their debut, which I already said I enjoyed beginning to end. From the amazing opener Wake Up Dead to the classic Peace Sells. From the long but never boring Good Mourning/Black Friday, the to fantastic closer My Last Words, this thing is unrelenting in its fun and extremely energetic thrash glory!

How tastefully evil and humorous this record is. It's like seeing through the eyes of a madman. It conveys the thrash essence as best as it can get with all the key ingredients and some spicy extras: politics, occultism themes, neck-breaking grooves, demoniac arpeggios, exuberant basslines, hard riffs and obviously the solos to leave you on the edge of the seat.

"Wake Up Dead" and "Peace Sells" are two of my personal favourites from Megadeth. This would be their best effort to date, after Rust in Peace, at least in my opinion. Amazing musicianship, and in particular the guitar work is stunning. 1986 was a truly brilliant year for Thrash Metal, this is one of the finest contributors.

Rust In Piece had the better drums and solos Peace Sells had the better basslines and riffs.Even though Rust In Piece is way more fast and intense this was some heavy shit for the time.Megadeth>>>>>>>>>>>Metallica

The greatest music evokes memories, and this will always remind me of rocking out on guitar in my friends bedroom, him on bass to Peace Sells. One of the greatest thrash metal albums ever written, and one of the greatest metal albums. A must listen to fans of the genre.
