reviewing every ravi shankar album, pt. 10;

i feel like there is less of ravi’s playing than usual. there is a lot more flute and percussion features, whoch are great, but they dont manage the same impact as ravi’s refined but emotional playing style. song like ‘dhun’ where ravi is prominent are great, but there are long stretches on the album without ravi. i love his playing on this project, as to be expected. sometimes ravi just feels like a feature artist on his own ... read more
