would be 100 but this one doesnt have a banana on it
The Murder Mystery is probably the most interesting rock song ive listened to from the 60s. that song alone makes this better than the banana
Candy Darling is a problematic yet iconic figure for many.
Her most famous role was in Woman in Revolt a film I detest.
She said some incredibly misogynistic things over the years.
And yet? Every time I see that picture of her on her deathbed I well up.
She went out at 29 years old. Far too young.
Yet in that picture she encapsulates soo much.

Yeah, the Nico album is great. White Light/White Heat has its people. Heck even Loaded has some classic songs. But for me, this is the best from these guys.
On The Velvet Undergrounds self-titled album the band don't really experiment as much and make an album that's pretty minimal in its sound and relatively accessible, that doesn't make this record falter in quality but it rather acts a breathe of fresh air. The songwriting is digestible with some interesting moments like on Murder Mystery and the production is easy on the ears and nice to listen to, I feel like on the 10 tracks here they manage to encapsulate me further with what they're saying ... read more
