Mojo
The result is a bold, career highlight that's dizzyingly inventive on the surface, with a powerful emotional undertow.

The Observer

Animals continues seamlessly, using a raft of guest musicians and rappers, its rhythms shuttling between drum kit and electronica.

Slant Magazine
The rapper and drummer’s music is a modern, often jarring synthesis of hip-hop and jazz.

Loud and Quiet

All jazz drama and velveteen underground rap, Animals is a glittering record also littered by features from top names in both fields.

For my first time with Kassa's work, I'm impressed and shocked how good it ... read more

When it hits, it hits, but some risky production choices didn't pay off in my opinion.
