At times revelatory, at others soothing, ‘CLEAR 2: SOFT LIFE’ feels like so much more than a stop gap. Modern soul music constructed on its own terms, Summer Walker speaks from the heart, crafting a brief song cycle that leaves a palpable impact.
Sem sal, desinteressante e chato. Essas três palavras resumem esse EP por inteiro! Em poucos momentos as músicas tentam cruzar esse caminho para melhor, mas as coisas continuam básicas e chatas.

Someone should've given her a tissue before she recorded Set Up cause she sounded so stuffed up
It’s probably her best thing yet but definitely not moving anything happy to see her mess around with more jazzy and live instrumentals
A majority of the tracks here feel absolutely soulless, boring, and just outright terribly produced.
The mixing in ‘Mind Yo Mouth’ is particularly awful and Childish Gambino’s feature in ‘New Type’ is one of my least favorites in his entire career.
