The Stones style disco found on "Miss You" works for me, as does the country parody of "Far Away Eyes". Some of the songs on here are a bit bizarre though, and Mic does nothing to fight charges of misogyny (the title track). Still this is a solid late 70's addition to the Stones discography. "Beast of Burden" is certainly another solid Stones ballad to add to the pack.
Best Stones album ever, yes, better than Exile. This was their peak.
There is actually a really nice variation of tracks on Some Girls from the disco based Miss You to the more classic Rock of Beast Of Burden. The think is, the album doesn't feel disjointed but flows amazingly together
