Another set of re-imagined classics in songwriting history, Sinatra repeats his first set of Capitol records; shifting from a moody concept to a fun and jazzy big-band sound. This was an interesting album. I really enjoyed the more positive lyrics on here, and the big band ensemble fits Sinatra extremely well. The lyricism is very good here, and I especially love, "the Rockies may crumble, Gibraltar may tumble, but love is here to stay". 'Anything Goes' shows great foresight, and it makes me smile.
