A fantasy date with Britain’s most ironic and monkish pop star.

Filled with carefully constructed guitar pop gems, the album contains some of Morrissey's best material since the Smiths.

Now that his heart is full and the lights have turned off, is the right time for Morrissey to calm the spirits and have a conversation with maturity, provided that it will be a short one.

Not really my favorite solo Morrissey album but still a strong set of songs and a highlight in his solo career, containing some great songs, which are highlights in his career, such as the lead single The More You Ignore Me, the Closer I Get and Now My Heart is Full, but often some song don't add much to the overall experience. Morrissey can be an imbecile at most times, but I cant deny how great this album is. Tracks like the opening "Now my heart is full'' or ''The More you ignore me, the closer I get'' are classic brit-pop songs. The record itself is easy and sweet to latch yourself onto. This was definitely Morrissey at his peak and an album I return to countless times.
