Time for yet another Morrissey album, because i'm an annoying bastard who listens to stuff his friends recommend him rather than what he wanted to listen to himself some days. Tbf i even forgot what else i did want to check out today, so it's fine. But yeah, Ringleader Of The Tormentors, long song titles on the tracklist, it all screams Morrissey at you.

On his website, Morrissey apparently ranked all of his solo albums and those with The Smiths from best to worse. At No. 2 was Ringleader of the Tormentors. I was initially going to give this album a low rating because I was not wowed on the first listen, but after a second and third listen, I think it's one of those records that you just have to let simmer a bit.
