I believe Guns N‘ Roses is one of the more overrated rock bands. While many of their projects have a few undeniably great tracks, none of them are cohesive enough to piece together an outstanding project. This album is prime example of that. An improvement on UYI1 in my opinion and contains some great (and some brilliant) songs that rank among the band’s best. The album also feels like it has more inspiration than the first and feels tighter with a shorter tracklist. The problem is that while there are genuinely great ideas in this album, it runs out of them earlier than I would’ve liked and it suffers from some filler tracks.
