My least favorite review to write is one borne out of frustration or disappointment, but it’s a review I feel compelled to write often if only to vent out these feelings. They played it so safe. How you can drop a single like “OKAY!”, an otherworldly take on hip-hop, just to stuff it on an album of… of good alternative R&B.

This Album is a solid alternative R&B record, but does not fully utilize Kaycyy's potential.
This brief project with Gesaffelstein has so much energy, personality and versatility. I was thrilled to see the original expanded, as the new tracks bang, especially "ROLL THE DICE", which has a passionate melody from KayCyy. I also love the thumping, nocturnal sound of "TIMELESS". Gesaffelstein's production is very good but that's a given. i am curious however if Kaycyy is being carried by the production here, I'm not too sure if i would like Kayccy half as much without the Gesaffelstein, but either way they have produced a very synthy, and vibey LP here.
