tl;dr: i love it

I think the real miracle here is that I liked hearing Billy Corgan’s voice on a song. Get Ready sees New Order mature into the 21st century with a surprising amount of grace. It’s by no means a reinvention, but by slowing down just a bit, the band come through with their most melancholic and pretty album to date. An all around lovely listen.
Much better than than the previous album. This more rock orientated album goes really well with there signature sound and I think Peter sounds really solid here.
New Order welcomes a new century with "Get Ready", and you better be ready.

Because for the second straight album, New Order drops some mid.

I just didn't connect with this one even though CRYSTAL is one of the best New Order singles ever. It is a shame nothing else on the album comes close enough.

Still, I guess the saving grace is it is a decent album. Just disappointing coming from N.O.

New Order adentra os anos 2000 em grande estilo, Crystal é uma das openers mais poderosas da carreira da banda e o resto do álbum traz um lado rock envolvente e bem explorado, especialmente levando em consideração a época em que o disco foi lançado.

Fav tracks: Crystal, Someone Like You, 60 Miles an Hour, Rock The Shack e Primitive Notion
Least fav: Turn My Way
The new sound they were going for here was really cool! It felt like a natural evolution of their earlier sound and lends itself well to most of these songs, though not all of them are too memorable as "Crystal" kinda stands supreme. Still a very underrated release.
