I think this mixtape was one of the biggest shifts in UK music for a while. 2016, notoriously, was the best year for music in over 20 years respectively. The project came off the back end of the BBF album from Spring of the same year and boasted pure complex and forward thinking beats. Whilst 'BBF' was more of a stylized concept-ish album with narratived ideas and looped experimental rhythms, '419' aggressively threw out mean hard hitting plates over and over.

Ahhhhhh I wish I’d found this sooner
"I wouldn't trust him if I was you"

I have been hard pressed to find a more unusual part of a song that has me sucked me to its parent album like the opening of "Snakeman Freestyle" on Babyfather's '419', an underground project that I have consistently gone back to since its 2016 release.
