here we go! the most popular dungeon synth album (probably)! yeah this is great. this definitely seems a lot less "I'm gonna play a few notes on my synth pad" and more actual work put into this to make it sound less like soundtrack background music, which really works and i wish all of the other albums had this much effort put into it! i mean this just doesn't have synths, it has STRINGS????? Huh, well that was pretty neat! I really dug the heavily atmospheric and medieval feel of this whole album; it's as if listening to this, you were transported into a classic medieval MMORPG or into your own Dungeons & Dragons world. One of the best releases within the dungeon synth genre. Keeps a dark and atmospheric tone, while still giving medieval sounding effects as well.
