Sanguivore might not be as precisely balanced and pop-pitched as Sex, but there’s craft and talent here, and the album is punctuated with sublime and sublimely entertaining moments. A listener might have some fun, too. Granted, that’s out of vogue, but no one has to know.

The Ballad Of Spook And Mercy sounds like Kill Bill spliced with From Dusk Til Dawn, while piano lament More Than Death closes the story drenched in blood, regret and a little romantic redemption.

Will Gould is one of the few men i would go gay for.
OH! and the album itself is really good. considering it's near Halloween and a lot of the band's theme relate to the holiday, i found myself immersed into, not only the stellar production, but also the subject matter from the lyrics. Meaningful, but lots of fun as well.
Now, if you'll excuse me, imma call up Will and take him to Nandos :3

Initially I didn't like it as much as their previous album but it is steadily growing on me. The 80's vibe is strong and having seen both live recently I can safely say creeper are doing Sisters of Mercy better than sisters are. Some great tracks on this, just not an end to end listen for me.
This is somehow hard to describe. I really forgot about the last albums but I remembered the band for being interestin but I really had no clue how they sounded. But this really kinda reminded me of ... HIM lol
Fun asside. This album is probably very different to what they have ever done so I can see the progress in their works. A lot of the songs work brilliant with the epic and spheric sound and the really low and beautiful voice. I think I have to listen to it some times again to really get ... read more
