Alright so ive decided to go trough most of The Microphones discogrophy since The Glow Pt.2 is one of my favorite albums. Starting with this album and....its pretty mediocre, altough i wasnt having any expectations for this to live up to The Glow Pt.2 at all concidering this is one of their earlier projects. A few tracks here kinda outshined the rest, but for the most part i thought this album was pretty consistently unexciting.
My first impression of The Microphones. I've decided to, instead of just listening to The Glow Pt. 2, I'm going to go through their previous releases leading up to it. That way I'll be able to see any artistic growth or evolution throughout their first 5 or so albums. And I'm starting with their debut, Tests, from 1998.

50 points alone for that "eyes for volume" track......
It has some interesting ideas, but overall Tests is a boring and bland collection of tracks, with a few highlights.
its pretty interesting as just a documentation of ideas, i dig it, lovely stuff
