Did you win the lottery?
As a precursor to one of the best post hardcore albums of all time, this shit still slaps. The one thing that holds it back for me are that the vocals could be a little bit better at points to me. If that was a little better, this would be very close to that RiC. But even with that, this album is a really good stepping stone. The main highlight on this album for me is the song Lopsided. I've only casually listened so far but the energy this album creates is immense, not only are they able to create some of the best post-hardcore music i've ever heard but they prove their versatility by showcasing an amazing understanding of dynamics and intricacies in the way they play and present their instruments. My only gripe with the album is that a few songs like A Devil Among The Tailors and Lopsided never really grabbed my full attention like the rest of the album managed to do ... read more
