for reference the original focus is in my top 5 albums of all time and i sincerely believe that the eagle nature is one of the greatest songs ever written. literally why would they butcher it like this?? in what universe does this sound better even in the slightest lmfao??? 20 bc at some points the electronic vocals had some cool variations i liked
Focus is one of my favorite Progressive Metal albums ever, and I'm very aware of how shitty it might sound compared to bigger beasts like Metropolis Pt. 2 or Blackwater Park, but I still find it a perfect album for what it is trying to do, an album that I enjoy very much, I even managed to enjoy its weird sound/mix/production.
Idk who did the mixing on this remix, but they managed to make it sound worse............. It's like they removed some sounds, the actual ones that remain sound worse ... read more
