‘Sorry I Haven’t Called’, brings out the best dance music has to offer because although Vagabon’s music is soft-indie-pop at its core, she has somehow captured an intrinsically heavenly sphere throughout the twelve tracks, making it the best record to keep a tiny bit of summer inside of us as the autumnal air is taking over the outside world.

Vagabon’s versatility and elasticity has fast become her strong suit and to be able to keep everything so cohesive is her crowning glory. Her latest reinvention is one that should take her to a new level.

It’s a serviceable enough pop effort, but much of the singer’s edges have been sanded away.
Certainly, a great electropop album with tendencies toward alt-pop, some experimental productions, sprinkles of synthesizers throughout, all complemented by Vagabon's delightful voice and expert lyrics. It all culminates in a very contemporary album that is self-contained but doesn't seem to strive for perfection. It's dynamic, sophisticated, and well thought out.

some songs are a little corny (half of the singles lowkey) but a lot of the album tracks are pretty fresh and very well-produced
