Candy Apple Grey is a bit of an oddity in many ways. It sees Hüsker dü make their sound even more melodic and poppy than on Flip Your Wig but with the added addition of softer more ballad like tracks which ultimately don't work as well as the high energy bangers. It's pretty good but very scattered.
