If, in the year 1999, technical ability and innovative songwriting were an apt indicator of commercial potential, Estradasphere probably would have been sitting on a gold record with It's Understood. As it stands, you've probably never heard of them. But there's lots of attractive music on this debut.

this first song just feels like a never ending tom and jerry chase, like, as jerry turns around the corner, we can see tom, rapidly approaching. tom set up a bunch of traps in the kitchen, but jerry is prepared. as jerry goes through the kitchen quickly, avoiding the mouse traps and jump pads, tom jumps and tries to catch the mouse. jerry slips in his hands and manages to escape, drifting in the hallway. Hunger Strike is insane. Fully deranged, massive and crazy impressive track, you've gotta hear it. Fuck the rest of this bullshit album by comparison, you've gotta hear Hunger Strike.
