Mark Kozelek's continuation of Red House Painters into Sun Kil Moon way have produced worthwhile successors, but his greatest works come from the original band. Down Colorful Hill being his most honest and relatable album, touching upon common insecurities and romanticizing them in an incredibly cohesive manor, especially the two tracks that last around ten minutes.
