A fun EP that doesn't take itself too seriously. TWRP's "Ladyworld" is a decent fusion of synth-heavy funk and disco instrumentals, vocoded vocals, and goofy and oft-nonsense lyrics. While relatively consistent, the album is held back by its unwavering dedication to its sound, and consequently lacks deviance or experimentation. This results in some tracks, particularly towards the end, feeling somewhat tired and played out.
TWRP redeem themselves by making their synthiest work to date. It's definitely a sound that caters to my taste. Points for making it all string together in a way similar to The Device. Especially with how the final track throws back to the intro in its last leg.
