The Drones second release is an acclaimed punk blues project, a genre that I'm not familiar at all with, but after listening to this, my first impressions of both this band and the genre are surprisingly positive, although not too spectacular. I certainly enjoyed most of it, and I can't think of a single element that could ruin the overall experience, but sometimes the pacing slows down in a unnecessary way.
