Reaffirming his sound, it works perfectly as a message to fans, while leaving the lingering feeling that an evolutionary jump awaits.
Really puts the mid in midwxst
I been a midwxst fan for a good while, he got me into hyperpop, the single with Denzel Curry kinda brought him into the mainstream which I liked cuz his music was fire.
But his debut album... It's mid. Man this shit was disappointing as fuck. There are some quality tracks here like: warning, pretty girls, lost and hate how much, then you have the rest which is either mid or straight up garbage.
Disappointed as fuck, I didnt listen to Slowdive bcuz of this
Without a doubt one of the worst albums I listened to this year. midwxst's voice is just annoying, the production is good and that's the only thing I can point as good, the songs are bad, repetitive and boring.
Favorite Song: warning
Least Favorite Song: old me
Songs Saved 2/12
Fav Song: pretty girls
this EP made me realize why i mostly only check out his rap music. I forgot all his other music a lil annoying some good songs here and there but that's it
Whilst i think this project is good and a fantastic evo for midwxst, i see ideas that need more exploration aswell as a lack of artistic overview from the artist himself
An amazing standout album from Midwxst for sure. With amazing emotional tracks like Heartache Blues and SLAPS like Lights Out. Wow. This is amazing for a 20 year old. I could see this from someone in their mid-20s or 30s even, but I extra kudos to Midwxst for making an INCREDIBLE album at 20.
