Soulmate and Smokey are excellent tracks, the rest is mostly comprised of solos-centric jam sessions and a couple of soul tracks: nothing fantastic, but a fun time regardless.
This was the point where the Funkadelic albums started to all merge together for me. It's more competent funk with only the silliness of the opening track standing out. Why is there a live version of Cosmic Slop?
