a concept album about a man reflecting on his tormented life as a child and trying to drink it away, with only occasional momentary lapses of reason back to the present like Stoop Lights. but with tracks such as Haze of Interference, neither us or Travis himself know where exactly he is

but to him It’s all just the liquor

this project is much more than a statement on mental health, It’s a look into the genuine mind of someone who fails to find happiness; even when he’s ... read more

The mysterious innovator in experimental hip hop, Travis Miller, returns after a quiet year with a whole new persona, Bedwetter - a whole new side to the existential suffering seen on previous Lil Ugly Mane efforts, reaching untouched areas that have never come across as this morbidly personal before.

The cover art of Miller's living space alone, painfully depicts a life on the brink of mental collapse - a plain storage container with nothing but cheap furniture and what looks like a deathbed ... read more

Travis Miller's return to the rap game after a quiet 2016 is perhaps his darkest and most demented work yet. Although inconsistent, some of the best rap songs that Miller has released since Mista Thug Isolation are on here, in particular, Stoop Lights. The themes of this record deal with depression, loneliness, and what stands out to me to be alcoholism. Haze of Interference had me really fucked up, when Miller's voice turns into a possessed shrieking of fury and confusion. When he says ... read more

Harrowing depiction of depression through cloud rap and sound collages that mesh pretty well. The album cover is highly reminiscent of Jandek's Ready for the House.

The obvious highlights are the ones where Travis is present, telling stories of mental illness and alcohol abuse. But I would argue that the gloomy, dark and sometimes creepy instrumental pieces in between only add to the overarching nature of Bedwetter. We've never seen Travis present himself as this raw and desperate, and it can be quite unsettling to listen to, especially on the incredible Haze of Interference. For its length, Flick Your Tongue is a surprisingly deep dive into the deranged ... read more

In love with this record. It's a tad eclectic with minimal bars, and I'm not too thrilled about Travis' angry delivery as it comes off as relatively hedonistic at times instead of the pitiful direction I think he was going for here. In contrast, the ambient tracks come off as self-reflective and really drive you into the headspace of Travis and force you to enter the lyrical tracks from his perspective, which he doesnt always pull off (the aforementioned vocal delivery can sometimes pull you ... read more

Travis Miller is under another moniker, this time embodying the desperation and the sadness, the hopelessness of unstable mental health. It's depressive and self-loathing, switching between noisy and distant instrumentals of anxious atmosphere to deranged, hysterical tracks where Miller drips his existential conditions within his lyrics to drawl desperately about loneliness and addiction. Volume 1: hits you very, very hard. From track to track you are transported into this space that ... read more
