The version with Happy Jack is a better setlist, but all and all one of their most underrated releases due in part to its whimsicality and off-the-wall songs.

A Quick One is pretty honest about what it is, but the group still bring a quality sound to this short record with some odder tracks as well as some songs that follow along the same path as their debut record. The fact that Townshend was not the primary writer on the majority of these tracks makes the record a little more scattered than their other releases, but allows the other members of the group to shine in places.
