Could call this summery dream pop I guess? Plenty nice ballads on here. Very focused on the choruses I feel but she is putting together pretty, catchy and very elegantly sung tracks. Much like Born to Die it's what she does too much of rather than not enough of that weighs the album down. There's a little bit of that tacky 'adlibbery' on this one that was very prominent on the followup.
