I guess it's about time that I get around to reviewing some more post-rock classics since after all it is my favorite genre. This particular LP is the seminal effort by Japanese post-rock band MONO. A band that has firmly cemented themselves solidly in the post-rock zeitgeist. In my opinion, Hymn To The Immortal Wind is the definitive MONO album. It contains everything that you want to get out of an epic post-rock album.
