The slight nods to accessibility and the decreased stylization might disappoint some of the faithful at first, but Strange Geometry grows more appealing with repeated listening.
Outwardly lightweight and fits comfortably into the indie-pop sphere, but there's a real romantic beauty to it that I find irresistible.
tremolo guitars for days...but "Strange Geometry" is a pretty good Indie Pop/Folk-Pop record.
it's rarely ever more than that and there really isn't much strange about it...but it's a very enjoyable listen.
besides music like this makes me feel like i'm a rom-com and that makes me want to believe in love for some reason.
in short, this album is pleasantly inconsequential...
