A very solid sophomore release from the great Elliott Smith. His songwriting and melodies improved by leaps and bounds from his debut to here. This is just a very satisfying listening experience, also a very somber one....I guess it depends on what mood you're in.

Strong 7/10
This man's music is so consistant, I need to lower ratings just to rank his albums properly.
Even though it is at the bottom of the dark hole, it is slightly warm.
I feel that way, and I play it again and again.

I loved the instrumentals on this album, the guitar playing is just amazing. Such a talent he was, his melodies and songwriting are just amazing.
